Module 4: Economic and action thresholds Fall Armyworm (FAW) control
Overview
The risk of yield loss due to Fall Armyworm (FAW) damage is influenced by many factors including pest pressure, the stage of plant growth at the time of attack and the climate. Decisions on whether not or chemical pest control methods should be applied are determined by the assessment of the risk of loss. Module 4 provides information on the risk of crop loss under certain conditions. Guidelines are provided to assist with decision making regarding the application of pesticides to control the FAW.
